Fatal crash accused may be tried as adult
A 30-year-old man who crashed a vehicle into a group of children on an Oregon State University campus was being tried as an adult Wednesday, authorities said.
Nathan Rickshay Jr., 30, also faces charges including driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to exercise due care.
Rickshay and his brother, 21-year-old Michael, allegedly had gone home from an after-party Tuesday evening on a dirt road near the north end of campus and were on their way home, the university said in a statement.
A vehicle slammed into a group of children, causing them to lose their balance and fall to the ground, according to a report filed with Oregon State Police.
Witnesses told police the car had been traveling at approximately 60 miles per hour when it came to a crash with a truck blocking its path, the university said. A group of students who were playing in the road had to be pulled from the vehicle, the statement added.
The family member who witnessed the crash said there were eight or nine bodies at the scene, according to the statement.
Students on the scene told investigators they heard the car "singing in a loud, high voice," the statement said. "When they turned around, the driver was not there."
A car was found nearby.
University police reported that witnesses reported the man was wearing a helmet and gloves when they first saw him.
"The evidence indicated he was intoxicated," the statement read. "The State Bureau of Investigations will conduct a thorough and comprehensive investigation with witnesses."

I've come across this phenomenon as well with most grocery stores in countries that sell fresh produce.
Remember to use proper hygiene and make sure that you purchase milk which is free of harmful chemicals, especially if they are used in cooking. If you decide to use chemicals in your food, use high quality milk to make your product healthy. I find that I'm very fortunate, because I don't have any cancer related illnesses.
When you are finished, you should be able to make a few bottles to sample your product. I always use 1/2 gallon per day and I'll put them in the fridge for about 5 hours. I know that these would have to be eaten as soon as you have put the milk in the fridge but don't put them out. If you do, you will waste your time and will also spoil your products. I've come to the conclusion that the shelf life of milk is 5-7 days (and you should expect it to taste very salty after several days if you are making a whole milk product).
